- 1 grass-fed ribeye steak (approximately 1-inch thick)
- 1-2 tablespoons ghee (or your preferred cooking fat)
- 1-2 tablespoons truffle butter or grass-fed butter
- 2-3 garlic cloves, smashed

- Sea salt (to taste)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Your Ribeye
Purchase the Steak: Start by sourcing a high-quality grass-fed ribeye from your favorite butcher. I love using ribeye because it’s tender, not overly fatty, and its manageable thickness makes it easy to cook without the risk of it becoming too chewy.
Step 2: Season and Rest
Season the Steak: Generously coat both sides of the ribeye with sea salt. This will help to tenderize the meat without making it taste salty.
Let it Rest: Allow the ribeye to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to 1 hour. This step is crucial as it helps the steak cook evenly.
Step 3: Heat Your Pan
Preheat the Pan: Heat a skillet over high heat and add the ghee, allowing it to melt and coat the bottom of the pan.
Step 4: Prepare for Searing
